Olivia is a self taught, British artist who lives in London but spent much of her childhood in the West Indies which deeply influenced her artistic style.  Olivia is a chef who trained in Michelin star restaurants. She transferred her creativity from cooking to painting when her family restaurants - where she was Executive Head Chef - closed during the 2019 Covid lockdown.

She developed a vibrant and emotive style that explores the depth of human experience. A unique fusion of colorist abstraction and whimsical surrealism, brings to life scenes of a vividly imagined universe.

Olivia primarily works on large wooden panels using acrylic paint and 24-carat gold leaf in her London studio.  Recently, she has begun translating these paintings into glazed ceramic sculptures – also incorporating 24-carat gold leaf – while working from a traditional workshop in Tuscany.

Her fluid forms show human figures often appearing intertwined with fantastical landscapes. These dreamlike scenes invite viewers into an otherworldly realm of imagination and introspection. Olivia’s work is designed to evoke a deep emotional response, drawing the audience into a world where boundaries between reality and fantasy dissolve.

Olivia’s expressive and enchanting style celebrates the beauty and complexity of life, offering a space for humour, wonder and reflection.
